Matt Vogl, MPH

In 2015, Matt Vogl co-founded the National Mental Health Innovation Center (NMHIC). He now serves as  Executive Director of NMHIC at the University of Colorado’s Anschutz Medical Campus, where he leads a team to better treat and prevent mental illness. Previously, Matt was the Deputy Director of the University of Colorado Depression Center. He earned a BA from Marquette University and a Masters of Public Health from the University of Minnesota. Matt was a standup comic for 12 years and is a diehard St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan. He has two sons with his amazing wife.

Debra Boeldt, PhD

Debbie Boeldt, PhD, is a licensed psychologist with a deep background in research, which has fueled her passion for evidence-based approaches for mental health and technology. Her work focuses on both children and adult wellbeing. She earned her doctorate from the University of Colorado-Boulder and completed her internship at the UCSD/VA program. After completing a fellowship at the Scripps Research Translational Institute in genomics and digital medicine, she joined a start-up leveraging technology in personalized medicine.  Her expertise ranges from web-based interventions, digital health, telehealth and virtual reality.

Sarah Beary

Sarah is a project manager for the Tech Innovation Network (TIN) at the NMHIC where she works closely with community sites to integrate digital health technologies into their practice. In her work with the TIN, Sarah has successfully implemented virtual reality, along with other technology, into a diverse portfolio of universities, hospitals, prisons, and community mental health centers. She also leads a range of efforts to further the TIN model in the expansion of technology in mental health.
